About Me

My clinical approach pulls from a variety of schools of thought, techniques and perspectives.  This is YOUR therapy and I accept you where you are.  Together, we will work to help you develop strengths and achieve your goals.  I work with adolescents (ages 13 through 18), individuals, couples, and families. Throughout my experience, I have come to realize that most issues stem from interactions between people rather than experiencing an issue as an individual.  Everyone is impacted by the problem.  Because of this, I know that family therapy is one of the best ways to overcome problems and improve the quality of one's life. 

I am licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist and a Professional Counselor.  I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Louisiana Tech University and obtained my Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.

I have worked in community counseling agencies as well as inpatient and outpatient psychiatric facilities. I have extensive experience working with adolescents, blended families, and parent-child relationships.
